Kandy's Katmai
"Katmai"

Katmai was born on April 30, 1998 in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. He is a registered American Pinto Pony. He was sold as a young prospect as a 2 year old, and was sold again to Windfall Farm just before he turned 3. He has been a lesson pony here since 2001 as a hunter under saddle and pony hunter over fences. He stands about 12.2 hands but has no trouble clearing fences over 3 feet. Katmai is a brave jumper that absolutely loves his job. He is kind and gentle, but with enough mischeif to keep the kids on their toes. Katmai will certainly have a forever home with us!

Katmai loves saltine crackers, a good backrub, and a thorough tummy scratch, but not as much as he loves jumping! He is our best freestyle horse, doing dressage, jumping, even trail riding with no tack at all - not even a string around his neck! Right now he is learning to lay down on cue.
Katmai was a pretty cute baby!

Waitin' on Joe
"Joe"

Joe was born on April 2, 2000 in Williston, North Dakota. He was sold as a young horse to 2 young girls in Southern Wisconsin who tried their hand at training Joe in just about everything from western pleasure to dressage. He was used for roping and parades, too. Joe has a calm, easygoing temperament, which made him a shoo-in for our lesson program. We have had him since 2004.

Even as the youngest horse in our lesson program, Joe shows off his versatility, winning in dressage, hunter under saddle, and western pleasure. He has also learned a new talent, jumping! He is a very gentle horse, and is great at giving inexperienced riders some confidence. He is 14.1 hands tall, so he is actually a large pony. He is a great english and western horse, and he also likes to jump. He is a favorite of many of the riders. Joe's favorite treats are carrots and cookies.
It runs in the family... this is Joe's great grandfather Jackie Bee.

Saving Grace
"Gracie"

Our newest member to the team, Gracie is a 15 year old Appaloosa x Thoroughbred cross mare with a sweet heart and loving nature. Originally an eventing horse, Gracie came to us looking for a new career as a lesson horse. Not only has Gracie earned her place as one of the best in the program, but she has the best of both worlds: the calm and gentleness to give a beginner confidence, and the competitive spirit to advance our other riders.

Gracie takes another trip to the winner's circle, this time with Erica Kinnard aboard.

Gracie excells in the hunter ring, and has won championships in nearly every division offered. A super equitation horse, solid hunter, and perfectly mannered beginner horse, Gracie is a crowd favorite.
