Reva is a 5 year old American Quarter Horse mare with a late start under saddle. She is well started with 30 days of professional training. Responsive, quick, and very smart. Would make OUTSTANDING competitive barrel horse, cutting, roping, team penning, reining, or working cow horse. Super soft and light in the bridle, moving nicely off the leg. This is a sweet, follow-you-everywhere mare with excellent ground manners and gentle disposition. At this time she is easily coursing up to 3'3 -she's super calm and steady, goes at the speed you want, she just LOVES her job! At her last show, she was reserve champion of the 3'-3'3" working hunter division and won her medals class. Get her while you can, she does nothing but improve and impress us with each ride - price will increase with training. She is great with kids, has show experience on the flat and over fences, loads right into the trailer, clips, bathes, ties, and trail rides like a dream. She loves to jump - doesnt go too fast or too slow, guides around the course very nice, and is a very point-and-shoot jumper. She is very honest and never runs out. She isnt spooky at all, and is perfect for the novice or intermediate rider looking to get into jumping. "Kiss" is a horse with a lot of heart and a big jump, easy to ride and soft and easy in the bridle. She moves beautifully off the leg, is schooling first level dressage, and easily clears 4'. In fact, we dont even know how high this girl can go. She has a lot of scope but is easy to sit. She has ribbons in hunter, jumper, and equitation, and is easily brave enough for eventing. She'll take anything you point her at. "Kiss" was born at Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, KY (home of Triple Crown Winner Seattle Slew). She is by the stallion NORTHERN FLAGSHIP (one of the top Thoroughbred sires in Italy) and out of the mare MISS OWENS who herself won over $200,000 on the track. NORTHERN FLAGSHIP is a son of the famous NORTHERN DANCER, who was a champion 3 year old colt in both the USA and Canada, Canadian Horse of the Year, and winner of the KENTUCKY DERBY. She was not raced as a 2 year old. She was raced as a 3 and 4 year old with a total of 9 starts and 2 wins. She was retired sound from the track in 2002.
