Quality instruction is available on safe school horses that match each rider’s individual abilities. You may also take lessons on your own horse. Lessons are available in private 1 hour sessions that emphasize Safety, good horsemanship, and correct basics. Tailoring to beginning and advanced riders of all ages, instruction is available in dressage, hunters, jumpers, saddle seat and western from our team of instructors on staff.
Students learn safety, proper horse care and ground skills while they learn basic riding mechanics. Beginner lessons are done on the longe line, where they can concentrate on their tasks without worrying about trying to also guide their horse.
Jennifer has a goal-oriented teaching style which gives riders the opportunity to create their own aspirations as a rider. Jennifer helps them learn the steps they need to accomplish to reach their goal and explains how to achieve them and why each step is necessary. Jennifer ensures that riders spend the time it takes to do each phase correctly before moving on, eliminating having to struggle with the same problem at a later time. Lessons are fun and flexible, and develop riders with a great deal of balance, feel and understanding of the aids.
