In case you haven’t heard, we have been invited to represent natural horsemanship training at the 1st annual “Horse Lovers Nite Out” on this Thursday, September 23rd from 6-8 pm at Hawks Ridge Ranch in Hudson. This event highlights different areas of the natural horse world.
There are about 20-30 demonstrators there, showcasing their specific niche in holistic/natural horse care and management. The categories represented include chiropractic, holistic horse medicine and supplements, natural hoof trimming, saddle fitting, acupuncture, and running a greener barn. It should be a great event!
Staci, Rebecca and I are going, along with several other members of the staff, to do training demonstrations with the horses and answer questions. Laina Stashek is also coming along with Alice, her newly weaned 1/2 arabian filly by Dark Kamaal to demonstrate her natural foundation. Rebecca and Gigi will demonstrate the natural foundation and how it bridges in to her higher training in dressage and reining, while Staci and Katmai will put on a demonstration of freestyle riding.
